ComRes and Daily Mail announce new polling partnership
The Daily Mail and ComRes today announced that they have teamed up to form a new partnership to deliver a programme of on-the-pulse polling and political analysis.

The partnership will include the extensive provision of polling throughout the General Election campaign period but also continuing beyond it into the next Parliament.

This evening will mark the first in the Daily Mail / ComRes monthly polling series which will continue and build on the monthly ComRes telephone polling trends dating back to 2006.

ComRes Chairman Andrew Hawkins described this as "an important new partnership both for Daily Mail readers and for ComRes as a company. Not only are we in the run-up to the most unpredictable General Election in recent history, but the uncertainty is likely to continue in the weeks, months and possibly even years following May 7th. We are therefore delighted to partner with the agenda-setting Daily Mail in delivering valuable insight and understanding of the latest trends in public opinion to their readership in print and online.  We are also very proud to be associated with such a distinguished British institution with numerous British Press Awards and a history going back to 1896."

More details on plans for polling during the election campaign will follow in the coming weeks.
