ForgeRock Digital Identity Survey
Survey of adults aged 18+ from the US, UK, France and Germany about their digital identities and the personal information they have shared online.

• Around half of adults surveyed (47%) don’t feel they know how much information about themselves is available online.

• Almost three in five (57%) know only a little or nothing at all about their rights regarding the use of their personal data.

• About half (53%) worry about how much personal information they have shared online, and a similar proportion (51%) are uncomfortable with the amount of information social media platforms have about them.

ComRes interviewed 8,434 consumers in the US, UK, Germany and France online between 3rd and 12th of January 2018. Data were weighted to be representative of all adults from each country by age, gender and region. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
