Survey of the British public about Barack Obama's April 2016 visit to the UK, on behalf of ITV News.

Three in five British adults (60%) say that Barack Obama’s opinions on the issue of Britain’s membership of the EU are not important to them personally; one in three (30%) say that his opinions are important.

Half of British adults (51%) say that President Obama should not say publicly whether he thinks it would be best for Britain to remain in the EU or leave the EU, while 36% say that he should.

ComRes interviewed 2,015 British adults online between 20th and 21st April 2016. Data were weighted to be representative of all GB adults aged 18+. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
