With ongoing speculation about when the Bank of England will raise interest rates, ComRes worked with a leading retail bank to explore understanding of the potential impact this would have.
Mixed methodology research was conducted among 8,000 members of the general public and 800 senior financial decision-makers at UK SMEs. This gave a comprehensive picture of attitudes among the population as a whole, as well as among groups likely to be vulnerable in the event of a rate rise, such as those with high loan-to-value ratios on mortgages.
The report will be published to position our client as providing an intelligent and valuable contribution to debate.
