BBC and AgriBriefing Dairy Poll January 2019
A survey of 2,012 GB adults on attitudes towards dairy products.
  • The majority of British adults’ views about eating/drinking dairy products have not changed over the past two years (70%).
  • Around one in ten British adults feel more negative about eating/drinking dairy products than they did two years ago (12%).
  • However, the same proportion feel more positive about eating/drinking dairy products (13%).
  • Only 2% of British adults feel more negative about eating/drinking dairy products over the past two years so have become vegan.
  • Nine in ten British adults, who feel more negative towards consuming dairy products than they did two years ago, say a healthy living choice was a factor that influenced them to at least some extent (92%).

ComRes surveyed 2,012 British adults online between 9th and 10th January 2019. Data were weighted to be representative of all British adults aged 18+. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
