Further Description

More people give to charity in November and March than in any other months according to a 12 month study into charitable giving in the UK from August 2012 to July 2013.

These months coincided  with the two biggest TV fundraising events of the year. These findings are based on a one-year tracking study conducted by ComRes.

ComRes interviewed more than 2,000 GB adults online every month between August 2012 and July 2013 by ComRes on behalf of the Charities Aid Foundation, which promotes charitable giving and provides financial services and social finance to not-for-profit organisations.

Data were weighted to be demographically representative of all British adults aged 18+ by age, gender, region and socio-economic status.
