- The majority of MPs overall (54%) are ‘concerned’ about access to medicines for patients after Brexit. Labour MPs are the most concerned (93%).
- Almost two-thirds of MPs (63%) are concerned about recruiting and retaining doctors and nurses after Brexit. This includes 91% of Labour MPs and almost four in ten Conservatives (38%).
- Overall, MPs are less concerned about delivering the Life Sciences Industrial Strategy (44%).
- Nearly six in ten MPs are concerned about research and development of new treatments and medicines (57%) and funding for the NHS (51%).
- Conservative MPs are least concerned about funding for the NHS, with 55% who are not at all concerned about this following Brexit.
