Jewish News - Hezbollah polling
A poll of adults in Britain for Jewish News.
  • Those who express an opinion are four times more likely to support extending the designation of terrorist organisation to include Hezbollah’s political wing than oppose it (81% v 19%).
  • Young people are the most likely to oppose, with a quarter (23%) of 18-34 year olds who express an opinion opposing the proposal compared to a sixth (17%) of those aged 55 and over.
  • Of all the 61 Muslims* in the survey (including those who say don’t know), they are more than twice as likely to support than oppose extending the designation to Hezbollah’s political wing (23 to 9 respondents).

*base sizes of less than 100 should be seen as indicative only.

ComRes interviewed 2,039 GB adults aged 18+ online between 17th and 18th January 2018.  Data were weighted to be demographically representative of all GB adults by age, gender, region and social grade.  ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
