NHS Confederation Public Elective Care Poll
A survey of British adults aged 18+ on the NHS elective care target

The consensus among almost three quarters of British adults (72%) is that new money from government for the NHS should be put towards meeting the 18-week target for elective care. A large majority (69%) also agree this target should be maintained, even when the NHS is under financial pressure.

ComRes interviewed 2,060 British adults aged 18+ on 10th and 11th October 2018. Data were weighted to be demographically representative of all British adults aged 18+ by age, gender, region and social grade. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
