  • A third (35%) of GB adults trust central Government or local councils to run schools effectively compared to two in five (41% who distrust. A quarter (23%) don’t know.
  • Two thirds (68%) agree that parents should be able to choose to pay for their children’s education if they can afford it, compared to one in five (18%) who disagree.

Methodology
ComRes interviewed 2,016 GB adults online between 6th and 8th September 2019. Data were weighted to be nationally representative of all GB adults by age, gender, region and social grade. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
