Further Description

New research by charity The National Gardens Scheme and ComRes suggests that today’s kids are missing out on the health and happiness benefits associated with time spent in a garden.

90% of British adults believe today’s children should be spending more of their leisure time outside in gardens, according to new research published today, with the majority in agreement that children who spend time in gardens are happier and healthier than children who don’t.

Methodology: ComRes interviewed 2,055 GB adults online between 23rd and 24th April 2014. Data were weighted to be representative of all GB adults aged 18+. ComRes is a member of the British Polling Council and abides by its rules.
