University of Sussex EU Referendum Poll
Poll of 1,982 students and 1,336 staff at the University of Sussex to understand their views on the upcoming EU referendum.

• Around four in five students (78%) and staff (85%) at the University of Sussex express the view that the UK should remain a member of the EU.
• Academic staff are more likely than non-academic staff to say that the UK should remain a member of the EU (88% vs. 76% respectively)
• Four in five staff (80%) and three in five students (63%) say that they would be “absolutely certain to vote” (giving a score of 10 out of 10) in the EU referendum if it were held tomorrow.

Methodology
ComRes conducted an online survey of 1,982 students and 1,336 staff members at the University of Sussex between 21st March and 5th April 2016. Student data were weighted by home country, gender and year of study to be representative of all students. Staff data were weighted by division (academic staff or professional services staff) to be representative of all staff.
